The Product Sales/Customer Care Specialist is accountable for the management of an assigned geographic jurisdiction’s for product sales operations, providing input into establishing the council planned sales objectives. She/he assists in the development, promotion and execution of the entire product sales program while meeting the needs of girls, adult members and employed staff. She/he provides ongoing courteous and efficient support to all customers by answering phone, processing paperwork and referring and/or connecting customers to appropriate information or staff/volunteer.
The Service Unit Support staff provides volunteers with superior customer service and support. The purpose of this role is to be the point-person for local volunteer teams and ensure that first year volunteers flourish. Services will include providing resources and assistance, distributing and explaining written materials, retaining and assisting new and current leaders in acquiring leadership training and sustaining service units and troops.
The Department of Civil Rights has posted a Civil Rights Specialist 13 vacancy. This position will function as the Hispanic community program specialist with responsibility for developing and encouraging partnerships with the Michigan Hispanic community, including organizations and businesses; and forming coalitions with other advocacy groups around common issues. The position is located in Lansing and is open to all qualified applicants. The employee must be able to read, write and speak Spanish in order to serve the Hispanic community.
