Greater Grand Rapids NAACP 100th Anniversary Freedom Fund Conference
We invite our friends, supporters and co-conspirators to attend and help us celebrate this year’s 2019 NAACP Greater Grand Rapids Branch 53rd Annual Freedom Fund Dinner and Awards on Friday, October 18, 2019.
This year we are extremely excited to celebrate our 100th Centennial of the local branch which received our charter from the NAACP National Office in February of 1919.
The annual Freedom Fund Dinner and Awards is the premier fundraising event for the organization. It provides the NAACP with the opportunity to invite stakeholders from the community to learn about the organization, celebrate our successes, honor award recipients and most importantly highlight our 21st Century Game Changers Civil Rights agenda.
The theme of the event this year is “Our Moment for Momentum” featuring for the first time the Freedom Fund Conference hosted by Mr. Korey Wise, member of the exonerated Central Park Five.
