In commemoration of Bloody Sunday, the Selma-to-Montgomery March, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 The Greater Grand Rapids NAACP will be hosting a peaceful March at the Blue Bridge downtown Grand Rapids on March 6, 2022 at 1:30pm. Our voting rights are at stake and it is now more important than ever that we take a stand and demand what’s right ! We encourage everyone to come out and support. NAACPGR, Spartan Nash and Job + Rides are coming together to host a full day hiring event at the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation: This full day event will start at the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation with a breakfast and a brief presentation from NAACPGR and Spartan Nash about this opportunity and the job duties related to the position. Jobs + Rides will then transport the group to the Spartan Nash Facility for a tour of the facility. We will provide lunch and then participants will be interviewed on site. Upon completion of interviews Jobs + Rides will then transport everyone back to the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who is looking for immediate employment.

11:00- Transport applicants from GRTCCT to SpartanNash GRDC , arrive at GRDC by 11:20 am

11:20-12:20 Grocery Warehouse Tour followed by a FREE Lunch
12:30pm-3:00pm Start Interviews
3:00pm Interviews conclude transport applicants back to GRCCT
