What you can expect in this position:

The Account Representative position is a highly competitive field sales role. Account Representatives develop successful strategies to source and qualify new accounts and work with existing accounts to execute productive blood drives to meet monthly territory blood collection needs. This position is critical to ensuring a stable public blood supply.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Three (3) to five (5) years direct business to business sales experience preferred. A current valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.

When you will work:

Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30 with some flexibility to nights and weekends as needed for events

Position: Intake Attorney

Program

Legal Aid of Western Michigan (LAWM) has a position open for a full-time Intake Attorney to serve our Holland and Muskegon offices. The Intake Attorney will conduct intake interviews with clients and provide advice and counsel to clients both verbally and in writing. LAWM staff are currently working primarily remotely, but ultimately this position will be an in-person position or a hybrid of in-person and remote. This position will report to the Director of Litigation, but will work closely with the managing attorneys for LAWM’s Holland and Muskegon offices.

LAWM is a federally-funded, nonprofit law firm providing free legal representation to low-income individuals and families in a wide variety of poverty law areas including domestic violence, housing, public benefits, and consumer issues. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A license to practice law in Michigan;

  • Three or more years of experience practicing law with a legal services program;

  • Demonstrated commitment to protecting the rights of low-income individuals and households;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and

  • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.

Duties

The Intake Attorney is expected to:

  • Provide intake services, referrals and/or legal advice as appropriate to clients with a variety of legal needs;

  • Assess prospective clients’ legal needs for merit and potential representation in consultation with other LAWM staff and following LAWM’s established case priorities;

  • Maintain electronic records within LAWM’s case management system; and

  • Successfully manage multiple tasks.

Salary/Benefits

From $45,587 DOE. LAWM offers an excellent fringe benefit package including a retirement plan and a flex benefit account.
