NAACPGR Covid-19 Relief Giveback Phase 1

This past Saturday, May 9th The Greater Grand Rapids NAACP in partnership with the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation and Feeding America of West Michigan together we successfully facilitated our first COVID-19 relief community giveback. Through teamwork and resiliency, we provided 50+ pounds of groceries and cleaning/hygiene supply packages to 250+ families in the local community. We want to give a huge shout out to everyone who came out as we are blessed to be in a position to be able to help provide relief to those in need in these tumultuous times.

Also last but not least, huge S/o to Leroy Reed Sr, Archie Sudue, Hispanic Center of West Michigan, Salvation Army and most importantly all of our volunteers who gave up their time and courageously put themselves on the frontline for the greater good of others. Here are a few pics from the giveback and stay tuned for more details about our next giveback on June 16th.
